Searching on iPlayiTrade. Items for sale are put into categories. Clicking on categories brings up a series of sub-categories. If you see the sub-category that you are looking for, clicking on it will bring up all the items currently for sale within it. Alternatively, if you know exactly the name of the item you are searching, you can use the search box at the top of the page. Enter your search and it will bring up every item listed that includes your keywords.

Advanced searches Clicking onto the advanced search page gives many more search options, including searching by price, location of the item and swap offers.

Placing A Bid If a seller lists an item as an auction, you will have a chance to bid. To place your bid simply enter the amount you wish to pay. Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction's currency.

Buy Out If this option is available you can use “Buy Out” to purchase the item immediately without having to place a bid. The “Buy Out” option will appear on the item details page, you will be asked to confirm your intention to buy out the item before the sale is concluded. Buy out’s cannot be retracted.

Make Offer Some sellers allow potential buyers to make an offer to buy their items, to avoid having to wait for the auction to finish. If a seller is open to offers, you will this icon

Paying If you are paying via Direct Payment, click the 'Buy Now' button located on the item listing page or on the confirmation e-mail sent to your e-mail address.

Completing the purchase When you receive the item, make sure it fits the item description. If you are pleased with the item, leave positive feedback about your seller. The seller will also leave feedback about you. Leaving feedback is an important part of the sales process, as you will be helping other buyers make decisions, just like their feedback helped you. If you have a complaint about the item, try and contact the seller to reach a solution. If this fails, you can report the seller to iPlayiTrade, who will consider what action, if any, to take.
